Think of the thousands of stars that should be above me. Think of the hundreds of billions of stars that exist, yet cannot be seen from Earth. Think of the hundreds of millions of light-years the light of those stars has travelled to reach us. Think of the invisible “now” of the starry sky, to be seen hundreds of millions of light-years from now.

I saw a starry sky inside a small stone. When I connected those microcosms together, they became one macrocosm. A hole appeared there, allowing me to move freely through time. Somehow, it feels nostalgic, yet also like somewhere I have never been.
